Hawaiian Honey Bees in Palm Flowers...


One of my palms is blooming and the bees have discovered the blossoms... one of the little guys had his pollen "satchel bags" so loaded, it's a wonder he could even fly, but fly he did...fly away before I could get his photo, darn...
I have yet to be stung by a bee in Hawaii, though it was a pretty regular occurrence on the mainland...maybe our Hawaiian bees are of a milder temperament? Or maybe they are just to busy to bother...
