A Starbucks a day keeps the blues away...

This is the lovely crew at the downtown Hilo Starbucks...this Starbucks crew really has it together, often when I arrive at the drive thru I will be greeted with a cheery "are you ready for your Hazelnut Caramel Machiatto?". Whats that song about going where everyone knows your name? We need a new one about going where everyone knows your order!
The flowers in her hair (and the Starbucks vase) are Gardenia, they smell lushius. Traditionally in Hawaii the flower behind your right ear means you are "available" and behind your left ear means you are "taken", sorry guys...it looks like shes taken.

The Serpent bridge over Wailoa pond...

The Serpent bridge over lovely Wailoa pond near downtown Hilo, people come and picnic, fish and play here...this pretty little pond is actually a brackish water inlet of the Hilo Bay, and is home to numerous relocated ducks and geese as well as being a local nursery for many aquatic varieties...a great place to spend a afternoon!
